In furnishing the hotel, we relied on the family-run Cologne manufacturer LUIZ for their expertise and passion for textiles as well as their exceptional sense for making a room extraordinary and their knack for keeping an eye on the overall picture. In collaboration with their favorite designer, Peter Fehrentz, they created the LEGEND bed, custom-manufactured for our hotel – its modular design allows it to be adapted to any individual room concept. The walnut headboard, luxury fabrics, and minimalist lighting underscore the overall concept for the interior design and reflect the colors and design elements of the neighboring historic Council tower. All of our bed linens, towels, and draperies were also produced by LUIZ and lend our rooms an atmosphere of livable elegance.
